VTS Field Trips
Pre-K through 12
Tuesdays, September 10, 2024 through June 10, 2025, 10:00 am or 12:00 pm
The VTS Field Trip is an experience designed for teachers who use Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) in their classrooms. This visit to the museum lasts 90 minutes and includes seeing all of the open exhibits and having a VTS image discussion in the museum galleries, as well as participating in our classroom Painting Program. A VTS-trained museum educator will guide your visit, including selecting an image in the galleries and facilitating the image discussion.

Payment
We will send you an invoice with updated student numbers after your visit, unless other payment arrangements have been made in advance. Invoices are sent to the email address provided during registration.
You can pay for your visit by check or credit card. Please make checks payable to Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture – we can only accept one check.
How to Book Your Viisit
Step 1: Pick a date and time that matches your preferred program experience.
Step 2: Once you have chosen a date and time, you will be prompted to fill out our ticket information. Please add one School Minimum Registration Fee, the total number of students and chaperones anticipated, and a grade level.
If you are registering over 30 students, click “Return to Shopping” and choose a second session. If you are registering 30 or fewer students, click “Add to Cart.”
Step 3: Confirm that your information is correct, then click “Complete Purchase”.
Step 4: You will be asked to provide your name, email address, school name, and contact information. You will also be given the option of paying the full bill or having an invoice sent to you after your field trip. We recommend that you choose to be invoiced as your balance will be adjusted the day of your visit.
Step 6: Click the “Purchase” button in the bottom right section of the webpage to complete your reservation. Once you have done this, you will receive a confirmation email from us. If you do not receive one, please first check your spam/junk folders.
We encourage teachers to visit the museum prior to your field trip. Check-in with your teacher ID and confirmation code for free admission.
If cancellation of a school visit is necessary, please contact us at education@northwestmuseum.org immediately.
