Our Stories: Black Families in Spokane

The first in the Our Stories series at the MAC, enjoy a day of immersive activities celebrating the stories that have shaped Spokane’s Black community and heritage.

Activities include descendants of Spokane's Black pioneers and dignitaries sharing memories and memorabilia, documentaries and youth-created films, a drop-in art project for the whole family, a DJ playing Motown music on the lawn, food trucks and more.
