The Museum is committed to making arts and culture accessible to every student. Through programming such as school field trips, the MAC Pack, Passport to the Arts, online programs, and Visual Thinking Strategies, the MAC engages almost 10,000 students a year. Visiting the Museum is a lasting and impactful experience that enhances student learning.
The MAC offers numerous opportunities to look at, think about, and discuss works of art and objects from different cultures with interpreter-led tours and self-guided exploration for families and school children of all ages.

Field Trips
MAC school field trips make art, history, and culture come alive through engaging exhibits, guided tours, and facilitated programs that complement and enhance elementary, middle and high school learning.
Teachers Start Here
MAC Pack in Schools
The MAC Pack brings a museum educator to your school for a 60-minute program for up to 30 students. This fall's program focuses on immigration through the story of a Campbell House employee.
Teens @ the MAC
The MAC is launching a youth arts leadership program designed to give participants a rich experience in the arts through monthly meetings that offer opportunities to engage with art, develop workplace skills, connect with local arts professionals, and grow in understanding of potential career pathways in the arts.
Story & Craft at the MAC
Designed for children ages 3-7, Story and Craft is offered every Saturday at 11 am in the MAC's Create Space. A popular children's book is read aloud followed by a craft activity related to the story.
